The Ukrainian Platform "Women in Business," in partnership with the fintech company Activitis, held an event in Kyiv that brought together leading women entrepreneurs from across the country—leaders who are actively shaping the economy and taking responsibility for change.
It was an in-depth conversation about female leadership, partnerships, and the role of finance in business development and the recovery of Ukraine.
The event reached an international level thanks to the participation of prominent speakers:
• Katarina Mathernova, EU Ambassador to Ukraine, who promotes the strengthening of relations between the EU and Ukraine and Ukraine's accession to the EU;
• Lisa A. Kaestner, IFC Country Manager for Ukraine, who manages large-scale business support programs;
• Kristina Mikulova, Head of the EIB Regional Hub for Eastern Europe, responsible for major infrastructure investments and the financial stability of the region.
The event was moderated by Nadiia Lysetska, entrepreneur and founder of the Ukrainian Platform "Women in Business," and Marharyta Pobilets, Head of Investment Attraction at the fintech company Activitis.
The Ukrainian Platform "Women in Business" is a non-governmental organization and women's business association that unites women entrepreneurs, executives, and leaders for development, education, mutual support, and inspiration.
Activitis provides innovative financial solutions that give women in business more room to maneuver. The online business installment services WEAGRO and eDilo are already opening up opportunities to scale businesses, invest in development, and maintain vital processes despite resource constraints.
This roundtable confirmed that the synergy of values and strategic partnership creates a powerful impact and opens new opportunities.
