We discussed international support for MSMEs, innovative financial instruments, and cooperation prospects.
This was a substantive and candid conversation about cooperation opportunities between Canada and Ukraine in supporting micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). We presented our digital products—eDilo and WEAGRO—which already enable Ukrainian entrepreneurs to purchase goods and services with installment payments—quickly, without collateral, and without paperwork.
Activitis seeks to engage international partners in building a financial ecosystem for MSMEs in Ukraine. We are convinced that strong business means a strong economy. This is why cooperation with Canada opens new horizons for Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
Canada is a strategic partner of Ukraine. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Canada has consistently supported our country. We are sincerely grateful to the Government and people of Canada for their substantial political, financial, humanitarian, and security assistance.
Canada also actively promotes trade and investment development between our countries:
• over $369 million USD—bilateral trade volume in 2024;
• exports from Ukraine to Canada increased by 55% year-over-year;
• over $92 million USD—direct Canadian investment in the Ukrainian economy in 2023.
We are grateful for the open dialogue, strategic partnership, and trust. We are building partnership solutions to support Ukrainian business and mutually beneficial cooperation with Canadian business.
