Piraeus Bank and Activitis are creating WEAGROBANK—Ukraine's first digital banking service for farmers!

WEAGROBANK is designed to provide micro, small, and medium-sized agricultural enterprises with fast and convenient access to banking services within a single digital platform. It will simplify financial management, reduce dependence on bureaucratic procedures, and make banking accessible even in the most remote regions.

"This is an important moment for Piraeus Bank in Ukraine. We are partnering with one of the country's fintech market leaders—Activitis, which finances small and medium-sized enterprises, primarily in agribusiness but also in other sectors, promoting inclusivity and sustainability. We will add our banking expertise and best ESG practices to make our joint efforts as effective as possible. Even more significant is that this partnership is launching in the midst of war—another testament to the country's resilience," said Yannis (John) Kyriakopulos, Chairman of the Board of Piraeus Bank Ukraine.

"For Activitis, this partnership is an important milestone in building the WEAGRO ecosystem. We highly value Piraeus Bank as a partner—a bank with foreign capital and significant experience in financing the agricultural sector in the EU. Together, our next steps, new products, and integrated solutions will actively support Ukraine's agricultural sector, benefiting micro, small, and medium-sized businesses through a full range of financial services within the WEAGRO ecosystem—WEAGROBANK," said Pavlo Matiyash, CEO of Activitis.

Through this partnership, Activitis and Piraeus Bank aim to empower farmers to fully manage their finances online—removing barriers, opening new opportunities for growth, and strengthening stability in rural communities.
